Formulated specifically for companion animals, VegeYeast™ is a modified brewer’s yeast, rich in natural B vitamins, chromium and high-quality protein.

We prefer getting essential nutrients from whole foods as much as possible, rather than adding individual vitamins in an attempt to compensate for inadequate meals. That’s why we recommend VegeYeast™. It’s loaded with the important B complex water-soluble vitamins to support the nervous system as well as many other functions in the body.

VegeYeast™ also supports urinary tract health. 100× more acidic and 35% lower in magnesium than standard brewer's yeast or nutritional yeast.

This matters because two major factors influence urinary health in pets:

  1. Urine that becomes too alkaline
  2. Diets that contain excess magnesium

Therefore, adding VegeYeast™, which is less alkaline (i.e., more acidic) and has less magnesium is good for urinary health.

Duration

1 lb of VegeYeast™ will last:

  • 4.5kg cat: between 5 to 7 weeks.
  • 4.5kg dog: about 5 months.
  • 13.6kg dog: about 2.5 months.
  • 22.7kg dog: about 7 weeks.
  • Very large dog: less than 1 month.
  • Small puppy: about 4 months.
  • Large puppy: about 7 weeks.
