We want to reduce the suffering of farmed animals!
My wife (a vegan of 35 years) and myself (a vegan of 12 years), have been committed to mitigating the suffering of
non-human animals for a long time. It is important for us to not only reduce the suffering of farmed animals but to help take in companion animals who are unwanted, abused or neglected.
As canines are not obligate carnivores, it has been especially important to feed our dogs nutritionally sufficient, balanced and high quality plant-based dog food. It also allows us to the opportunity to remain consistent with our over arching moral philosophy.
We have fed our dogs a variety of vegan dog foods over the years. Some have worked well but ended up leaving the marketplace and others were of lesser quality that manifested itself in our dogs in a variety of ways.
