“Gourmet Fondue - Delicious Cheese Flavour” cat food is formulated to meet the AAFCO Cat Food Nutrient Profiles for all life stages.

Because this recipe is highly concentrated, you can feed 30% less food (see First Time Feeding Instructions below). Many cats also produce 30% less stool and experience improved long-term health.

You can also expect no bad breath or body odor caused by bacteria, viruses, molds, or fungi commonly found in animal meals and byproducts. Evolution foods contain 0% animal ingredients, are completely vegan.

ADD WATER 
We strongly recommend adding water to dry kibble to increase your pet’s hydration. To prepare moist food from dry kibble:
• Start by using a lower amount of dry food (than what is indicated above for your pet)
• Add water in a 1:1 ratio (1 part kibble to 1 part water)
• Let stand for 30-60 min
Note: Regularly check and brush your pet’s teeth.

FIRST TIME FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS

Introduce your pet to vegan pet food gradually.  
Option 1. When switching to the Evolution Diet, gradually introduce it over 1 week (see diagram below).


Option 2. Start by mixing 1 teaspoon of nutritional yeast or vegetable oil into each cup of Evolution Diet. Pets adapt to Evolution Diet with no added flavor after 1-2 weeks. 
CAUTION: If the switch to vegan pet food is not made gradually, there is a small risk that pets may experience vomiting or diarrhea.

NUTRITIONAL YEAST
For picky pets, add some nutritional yeast (sold separately). Sprinkling nutritional yeast makes the food taste cheesy, a flavour pets love. For 1 cup of dry kibble, sprinkle ¼ of a teaspoon of nutritional yeast.

STORAGE
Store in an air-tight container after opening in a dark, cool place. The product is hydrophilic (attracts moisture), and if left in the open for an extended period, it can spoil prematurely.

KITTENS
Kittens can be started on Gourmet Fondu Delicious Cheese Flavor as early as they begin to nibble at solid foods (usually 3 to 4 weeks of age). Until 6 months of age, kittens should be fed all of the moistened cat food they will consume at intervals throughout the day. If fed dry, the cat food can be kept available to kittens at all times.

ADULT CATS
Feed dry or mixed with water. If mixed with liquid, we suggest one part of liquid to one part of dry cat food. Your cat should be fed what it normally eats in a day.
The following rations are recommended for adult cats with normal activity; however, portions will be slightly higher or lower, depending on your cat’s daily activity.
